Eeeeeeeep!

A few days ago, I noticed a weird sort of subliminal crackling noise emanating from just over my closet. It sounded a bit like the sound foam makes as it's disintegrating. I dragged a few family members over to listen to it, but nobody could figure out what it was. There were no stains or cracks or anything around the area, just this odd noise whispering out of it.

Today, I settled down to read a book and realized the closet was still making noises. I thumped on the wall and the noise settled down for a moment, then started up again. Finally, I went outside and looked at the corner of the house (the extension on the house, actually) where the sound was coming from, to see if there was some external component.

I saw an insect fly toward a spot on the corner of the gutter. Then another one. And another. Identical.

Bees.

I have bees in my walls.

We're calling the exterminator in the morning, but I have no idea if I'm going to be able to sleep at all tonight.

Bees or Wasps? Yellow Jackets can do quite a bit of damage.
I found one dead on Caroline's changing pad this morning.
Hope you got some sleep

Not only do I really hate bees, but I'm deathly allergic to them.... *shuddddddddders*

Good luck, I'd sleep in another house until they were all dead LOL

Bees or WASPS? :-\

Now bees can be scary but at least they are not as dangerous as wasps! I always try to persuade myself they are useful animals...

But still, I hope you get rid of them soon!!
