Ah . . .

Dear sweet beloved Paxil, selective inhibitor of serotonin reuptake, how I love thee. It does feel so much better to go through the day without withdrawal symptoms.

Second class day. On Tuesday, they gave us a truckload of books and a nifty vinyl bag to carry them all in. So far, it's . . . well, interesting. Seemed like people were still caught up in the "will this be on the test" syndrome, trying to memorize lists of things and muttering things like "well, that's what it says in the book." I had a rough time reading the chapters last night, but I think it was in part because I was still loopy from Paxil deprivation. I think I'll be spending a little quality time on the weekend digging up things so I have a clearer idea what the hell I'm doing.

Me go bed-bye now.

I am a Prozac girl myself.

Paralegal is a great field, and I am excited for you. Unfortunately in upstate NY I can become a glorified secretary with my degree. I am a lousy secretary too. My typing is not up to standard. Ok Whatever. I am still a New York Commissioned Notary Public though. That was separate from my degree though. No. i am not allowed to marry people, but it would be a cool part time job if I was allowed to.

The law jargon will get much easier. i think there's a lot of latin in it.

I think it is a great field for you because you exhibit a great abililty to write detail and think out of the box.

I actually took Latin in high school, so maybe some of the Latin lingo will come easier. Then again, it was only for two years and it was a couple of decades ago. We'll see.

I'm hoping it'll work out for me. Right now we're beginning with tort law, which seems to have started as a sensible idea and has since mutated into how-to-sue-anybody-about-anything law. Something tells me my idealism is going to be in tatters by the time this course is through.
