The walls, after a second coat, are primed enough to lay paint down on. I'm going to start with the closets, so I can make all my mistakes and no one will notice. I'd hoped to be moved in by the end of the month--as it is, the move in date has been pushed off to "sometime after DragonCon."
I'm putting some stick-on sheets to frost the glass panels in the bathroom door. After a few false starts, I think I've got the hang of it. Now I just need to finish that up and I can take the newspaper off of the door.
Work is enough to keep me occupied, but I really need to cut down on the internetting between things, even if the drama on dd.com is popcorn-munchingly spectacular right now.
Today I took pleasure in doing a little bit of actual story-type writing on my lunch hour. I hope I can cultivate a regular habit of it.
Today I learned that even more condos are sprouting up along Peachtree (which isn't really a surprise.)

Sounds like an ... interesting landlord. I'd be vigilant for signs that he thinks he's a Sith or a Dalek or something. On the other hand, if he'd said "some time after the DriveInVasion," I would run far, far away.
Popcorn?
Drama?
NO!
Do tell.
I am jealous, not of going to Con but of his going anywhere and being all alone and having fun. I know one day my kids will be out of the house but by then I will be too to do anything. LOL.
At this point I would love to go to the Con just to sit and watch the freaks go by.
I had to laugh at the person who took over the fanclub.
Yeesh. Dooranies. To think, I used to post there every friggen day. Since I've stopped - I've actually started painting shit instead of typing it! WahEY!
