superactiongo is my meme dealer . . .

Respond to this and I will do the following:

1. Tell you why I friended you.
2. Associate you with something - fandom, a song, a color, a photo, etc.
3. Tell you something I like about you.
4. Tell you a memory I have of you.
5. Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
6. Tell you my favorite user pic of yours.
7. In return, you must post this in your LJ.

Mmmkay, let's see . . .
1. Because you're a cool person and I admire your creativity in all its manifestations.

2. How about the CDs of yours that I have in my collection?

3. Your deadpan sense of humor.

4. Gosh, let me think. How about this one--you were playing at Eddie's Attic and I really didn't care for the opening act so I was hanging out by the pool tables waiting for them to finish. I poked my head into the music room to see if I could figure out how much longer it was going to be. You were standing just outside, talking to someone and as I walked back to the pool tables you quipped "I'm not on yet."

5. Are you flattered or weirded out by how much I like your music? (Please be honest.)

6. The "ha ha ha" one that you're currently using as a default. It's endearing and fits well in that icony format.

7. Done.

Re: Mmmkay, let's see . . .
That's a fair question. Can I be both? :) It's always weird to be the recipient of it, but it is absolutely flattering.

I hope that was a good answer...

Re: Mmmkay, let's see . . .
It was a fine answer and I'm glad to hear it.

I hope you and zeppo are doing well under the circumstances you've been vaguely hinting at.

Doing okay. I'm actually back home tomorrow, she's here for another few days at least, unfortunately. It's family health stuff, to be a little less vague.

I hope your job interview ends up well. You deserve to get back into the workforce again. :) Wish there was some way I could help.

Re: Mmmkay, let's see . . .
I'd gathered it was some kind of family matter when zeppo mentioned her parents' bathroom in the Bubble Bath Incident entry. (Which was a big hit on metaquotes, btw.)

Just sending positive thoughts in my direction is plenty. I should know the verdict by the end of the week.

I'm honored to have made it to the roll call of your subconscious. ;)

And thank you. I guess all the pozzies from everybody did help.

Interesting. Sure, I'll play.

1. I dragged you over to LiveJournal just so I could friend you, because I love to read the ramblings of your mind.

2. Barbie dolls. Even if you don't collect the things anymore.

3. The way I can talk with you about everything under the sun for ages on end.

4. I've got lots, obviously, but the one that springs to mind is my last visit to your digs--being curled up in your bed next to you, watching A Hard Day's Night and The Rutles: All You Need Is Cash on your laptop and just being full of pure and absolute joy in the moment.

5. What's your favorite memory of your dad?

6. I still have yet to see this video, but this icon makes me smile anyway.

sure... why not!

1. Same reason you friended me--because after meeting you and hitting it off so well, I wanted to keep in touch.

2. Funnily enough, I still associate you on some level with the old Lizard King board, since that's where we first 'met'.

3. Your ability to transform pain and frustration into gut-busting hilarity.

4. Hanging with you in the bar, definitely. Watching you tell stories about your mom with hand gestures and facial expressions was absolutely priceless.

5. I know initially we didn't get along all that well. (Not that you actively flamed me, but I seem to recall you describing me as 'pompous'.) At what point did that change for you?

6. I have murky and distant memories of seeing this when it was first transmitted. Your review is one of the most hilarious things I've seen, right after your infamous review of Night Travels of the Elven Vampire. (PS--damn, you got a lot of Orlando Bloom icons . . . )

I have TONS of borderline obscene Orlando Bloom icons. Would you expect anything else?

I seem to recall as well that we didn't click at first. I think that the moving out of Durandom as the sole area of contact--as well as a dose of much needed maturity on my part--would probably do it.
