Happy 4th of July, everybody!

That's the nice thing about the 4th of July--you can wish a happy one to everybody on the internets, because even if they don't celebrate Independence Day, if they subscribe to the Gregorian calendar they must concede that it is, in fact, the 4th of July.

Of course, this is kind of moot, since it's nearly midnight as I'm posting this and it's already the 5th of July in Europe. But you get the idea.

I had a good one, meself. Got some work done on the novel, purged my fridge of weird icky things, cleaned my bathroom and did some work on some other projects.

Had burgers at the 'rents and then went to the Westin to see the fireworks. I ended up sitting with some nice folks on a date and the seats were perfect because they were just by the Centennial Park fireworks as they peaked.

Off to bed now. I've got a whole weekend ahead of me. Wowzers!

Today I took pleasure in seeing fireworks from the top of the Westin.

Today I learned about some nice folks named Alex and Laura.
