Snow Day

It snowed in the wee smalls of the morning but the snow was already turning to rain by the time I got up to get to work. The roads were a touch slick but I got an early start and drove v. slowly and made it to work okay. Work didn't seem any more or less busy because of the snow, unless you count the guy with his kid ringing the doorbell at the stroke of nine. There was still enough snow about to look pretty when I went out to run a few errands (lemon juice and library books) but the streets were fine by then.

I borrowed a book on procrastination from work and borrowed another book from the library. America, land of the self-help book. Hey, I'll take all the help I can get.

On the way back from the library, I caught a glance in my rear view mirror of the driver behind me, who appeared to be whapping herself (I think it was a her) on the head repeatedly. I'm not sure why. Looked like she was trying to spank her hair into submission.

I'm going to go back to reading books now.
