Mer' Crimma

Yes, it's Christmas, whoogy-ha, it's Christmas. I got some neat stuff and everybody seemed to enjoy the gifts I got them. I have $50 in Borders gift cards, bath cubes, a blue wig, fuzzy bed socks, a turtleneck sweater, a word-a-day calendar, lemon verbena soap, the Live Aid DVD and a special gift that Mom made for each of the kids--a cookbook compiling all our favorite home cooking recipes. And I went on Amazon and used the remains of a gift certificate I still had to snag a copy of the uncut, original Manos, The Hands Of Fate. Whoo!

The house was a little crazy with all the siblings assembled with spouses and toddlers in tow. What used to be a serene ritual of waiting one's turn and opening presents one at a time has now become an insane rip-and-tear fest. Hey, time passes, things change.

Right now, we're in the play-with-our-toys lull. But then we'll assemble again for dinner and then probably go to a friend's place for a Christmas party.

Happy Christmas to all and to all a good night.
